A team that knows where English speakers get stuck, and how to get you unstuck. Lengua Viva was founded by Wolfgang after more than 10,000 lessons teaching Spanish to English speakers.
Wolfgang
Founder and teacher
Wolfgang founded Lengua Viva after more than 10,000 lessons with English speakers and a 4.9 rating on Preply. Trained with the Instituto Cervantes and holding a master’s in teaching Spanish, he builds classes where you speak from the first minute and leave with notes to review. He also trains other teachers.

Cayo trained as an architect and has spent 7+ years teaching Spanish in US middle and high schools. As an AP Spanish teacher, ACTFL OPI tester and DELE for Schools examiner, he knows what teens need for their exams and what parents and counselors expect. He also coordinates our immersion projects.

Carmen
Head of assessments and certifications
Carmen is the reason you always know your real level. A Hispanic philologist with an official master’s in teaching Spanish, she has 25 years of experience with teens and adults of every nationality, from A1 to C1. As an accredited DELE examiner (B1/B2 and C1/C2), she runs our level checks, assessments and certifications, and prepares students who want an official DELE diploma.

Operations and student services
Pablo makes sure your class starts on time, with the right teacher and everything ready. He builds the weekly schedules, matches groups with teachers, keeps enrollment, attendance and payments in order, and handles the logistics behind our immersion trips.
